The 3rd Day of Easter

We were busy most of the day preparing for Lexy's birthday party tomorrow, but we did manage to get in some Easter fun!

Josiah placed our 3rd ornament, a dime, onto the tree. We read the story of the Last Supper and Judas' betrayal of Jesus.

We talked about how Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of Silver. We decided to give Jesus 30 pieces of silver. Lexy counted out 30 silver coins to put in a gift box. She will take her gift to church on Sunday to give to Jesus.

Easter Craft: They each made foam magnets to put on the refrigerator. I should've taken a picture of the finished product. Notice Josiah used the little chick's feet as its eyes. I couldn't convince him otherwise. It turned out precious!

Book Basket: We read "I love You, My Bunnies" by Laura Driscoll and added it to our Easter Book Basket books.

Check out the Preschool Corner for more ideas!
