They're Playing Together!

I've waited two years for this! My children are playing together for lengthy periods of time!!! What does a just-turned-two year old play with a nearly four year old....

Mommy and Baby. Lexy is the Mommy. Josiah is the baby. The laundry basket is the car. She drives him around the house to the "restaurant" and various other places. She makes sure to fill the "car" with lots of toys to entertain him, especially when driving to the beach. He happily plays along mainly because the "car" is filled with books. He reads while big sister is appeased. Every once in a while, she asks him to cry or take a bottle, and he does it.

Why is this such a big deal? They play like this together for a good hour about every day. I do the dishes, fold the laundry, straighten the house, and make a meal in peace!

That is so sweet. My girls are 37 months old and 20 months old and they love getting in cardboard boxes and sometimes they push each other around.
